Brief

'Our customer is our influencer' - Never Fully Dressed

A new global position for a Wholesale Sales Manager based in London had been created. The successful candidate will be responsible for new business development and management of sales to existing national retailers and distributor accounts within the organisation’s portfolio.

The Wholesale Sales Manager will also be responsible for executing marketing, product launches and sales promotions with assigned EMEA retail partners, delivering growth and profitability.

Its was an important remit to get right to ensure the global growth of the brand.

Approach

More than a fashion brand.

It was important to target potential candidates who have had sound exposure to working with owner-driver brands that have seen extremely fast growth.

Working with international retail doors with a multi-disciplined approach to Business Development and Account Management, there was also a strong slant for the potential candidate to have a powerful connection to the brand with the ability to present as if it were their own.

Ownership, commerciality and organisational skills were critical.

Outcome

Lucy Aylen has built womenswear label Never Fully Dressed from a one-woman band to a thriving online business that is in hot demand with leading retailers around the world.

Our successful candidate came from an established brand where they were responsible for generating and developing wholesale sales. The brand had recently changed their direction to wholesaling their brand and as a consequence the Never Full Dressed opportunity was a perfect skills set to tap in to the candidates’ experience whilst exploiting the huge opportunity to develop NFD globally.
