    An exciting opportunity for a Sales Admin Assistant to join a large reputable womenswear supplier.

    You will be required to support a team of 4 Account Managers who each look after major high street retailers across Knitwear, Jerseywear, Sleepwear and Outerwear as well as inputting and maintaining images and information on internal systems and coordinating customer requirements and deadlines to help advise sampling priorities.

    Key Responsibilities:-

    Gather sampling information to assist account management team in costing/order confirmation and generate costing thumbnails.
    Input and maintain images and information on internal systems library.
    Raise Sales orders and order confirmation sheets to be passed to merchandising team/factories and customers.
    Cost price amendments on confirmed orders
    Manage and responsible for sending samples, swatches and any other information required out to customers via post and email.
    Assisting in the preparation of on-site customer meetings
    Managing production sample library
    Coordination of customer requirements and deadlines to help advise sampling priorities.
    Daily sample chasing working with internal teams and external factories in HK, Vietnam, China, Bangladesh and Cambodia.
    General administrative support for the account management team.

    Key Requirements:-

    You will be responsible for identifying and establishing relationships with new mills and agents, alerting the sales and design teams to emerging trends and suggesting ways to modify fabric into price when necessary.

    Key Responsibilities:-

    Working together with Design and Sales teams to source suitable fabrics for clients’ needs. 
    Commercial and innovative fabric sourcing.

    V&C has been briefed on an opportunity for a dynamic, experienced and confident Fabric Developer required for an extremely successful multinational organisation that has particular value on emphasis and trends around Textiles/fabrics.

    This important position plays a critical part in the development process, delivering fabric trend analysis across all product areas of the business, focusing on the key aspects of innovation and development, delivering their findings as a team to senior management and across the business. The functions include all facets of fabric and textiles, from woven’s and Knitwear through to printing, coating and washing. Structured and textured fabric knowledge equally important.

    Key Responsibilities:-

    • To efficiently drive and manage the development of fabric, labels and trim throughout the product creation and development process (this may include travel).
    • You will ensure all raw materials are developed on time within the critical path to meet key dates.
    • Pro-actively research fabric and trim innovation, and be well informed of new technologies, seasonal trends and competition; relay this information back to the team.
    • Develop exclusive and innovative materials.
    • Drive fabric sourcing opportunities for strategic short and long-term growth in order to achieve the company turnover and margin targets.
    • Build seasonal fabric and trim platforms based on design input.
    • Build relationships with global partners and suppliers.
    • Negotiate prices and delivery dates effectively and in line with commercial objectives.
    • Maintain seasonal colour standards/library.

    • Experience in outlining and implementing new processes into the category, department and business to standardise processes and continuously improve ways of working.
    • Highly organised to maintain accurate records from initial development through to bulk production stage. 
    • Clear, effective communication skills to all internal and external parties.

    Key Requirements:-

    • Strong and experienced fabric knowledge with a minimum 5 years working as a Product Developer and driving fabric selection.
    • The ability to translate trends and fashion coherently and effectively by way of presentation.
    • Excellent worldwide fabric mill knowledge. 
    • Knowledge of trade shows and events incorporating worldwide travel.
    • Product development experience at a senior level.
    • Effective communicator and team player.
    • Strong presentation skills using Mood boards.
    • Experience and in-depth knowledge of the competitive fabric marketplace.
    • Previous fabric Sourcing and development experience.
    • Technical knowledge and proven track record of developing and sourcing highly commercial fabrics.

    Our client, a large reputable supplier has an opportunity for a Jersey Garment Technologist to join their dynamic team.

    You will be responsible for fitting and sealing all garments for this customer, keeping specs and paperwork up to date and you must be a good problem solver and communicator.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Understanding of seasonal trends, blocks and fabrics.
    Oversee the garment sealing process including attending fitting sessions with buyers, noting alteration and amendment instructions, checking sketches and trimmings and ensuring finished garments meet customer requirements.
    Carry out fabric testing to ensure cloth is appropriate for the garment, quality is maintained, difficulties relating to fabric requirements are avoided and the cloth conforms to customer specifications.
    Understand customer systems and processes from sealing to production.
    Maintain up to date paperwork and schedules ensuring that the work of the department is fully documented and delivery dates are met.
    Responsible for the fitting and sealing of garments from order stage through to Gold seal. 
    Chase red seal and gold samples back from the factory in plenty of time for fit meetings.
    Makes and attends fit appointments with relevant customers at the beginning of every week. 
    Prepare garments for fit appointments…spec and check all to customer requirements.
    Follow up and chase back comments and samples after meetings.
    Work closely with the pattern cutters to ensure customer requirements are achieved accurately.
    Dealing with factory and production queries.

    Key Requirements:

    3 – 4 years’ experience within jersey.
