    Product Compliance Specialist

    £35,000 - £40,000

    A fantastic opportunity for a Product Compliance Specialist to join a successful retailer ensuring and overseeing the businesses QA and  Compliance Standards.  Reporting to the Compliance Manager this key role will be tasked with the responsibility of defining product compliance requirements and advise buying teams and other departments on safety and compliance related issues prior to product sign off.    

    Key Responsibilities:-

    Maintain awareness of compliance regulations within emerging and existing markets as well as identifying compliance trends.
    Alongside QA ensure all products tested to the retailer legal requirements.
    Supporting the Compliance Manager with compiling the business requirements for new markets and ensure solutions to mitigate risks.
    Support the product incident group to manage any serious business compliance/quality issues.
    Manage, review and update on all testing packages on a regular basis through approved 3rd parties.
    Monitor and report on supplier testing and failure/compliance rates.
    Support a robust quality and compliance training academy to support the business both internally and externally - relevant for all product categorises and trading markets.
    Liaise with Supply Chain and ensure all compliance certificates are issued in line with the critical path.
    Identifies compliance project needs across the business.
    Update QA/Compliance manual as directed by the Compliance Manager.
    In Conjunction with QA & SP's develop and own "root cause" analysis process for all compliance testing failures.
    Research and analyse compliance data and proactively seek commercial problem solving to potential compliance issues.
    Implement processes for maintaining regulatory documentation to  support with preparing regulatory submissions and managing the submission process.
    Review and re-launch compliance identity across the business.
    Provides guidance and direction to the team to support and resolve compliance issues in a timely manner with clear solutions and communication to all relevant stakeholders.
    Management of portal compliance.
    Develops a formal due diligence program, engaging with all key stakeholders.
    Support quarterly B&M reviews.  

    Key Requirements:-

    Ability to analyse and interpret information.
    Understanding of product compliance from a legal perspective.
    Excellent communication skills.
    Ambitious and driven to achieve optimum results.
    Strong business ethics.
    Advanced computer literacy e.g. Excel.
    Ability to influence and communicate effectively.

    Sustainable Packaging Manager

    £45,000 - £50,000

    We are working with one of the UK's most exciting and progressive brands on a new role across sustainable packaging. This respected brand is looking for a candidate to have full accountability for developing innovative solutions to ensure sustainable packaging options, across garment packaging and labelling.  

    Key Responsibilities:-
    Reporting to the Head of Product Sustainability you will be required to action:-  

    Work with the Key Line Process Manager to ensure that the Key Line E-Auction Process is developed and deployed to procure materials at best possible price advantage.
    The role involves collaboration with the Buying, Technical and Retail Teams to ensure all labelling, packaging and hangers use sustainable solutions and promotes the companies Sustainability agenda.
    Collaborating with the Buying, Product Compliance, Retail and Creative Teams to buy the packaging at best price and with best service, whilst ensuring all packaging is legally and commercially compliant using sustainable materials.
    Ensure where appropriate, contracts with third party vendors are in place to manage the supply of packaging, labelling and hangers.
    Regular contact with the Product Compliance Team to ensure all existing and new packaging initiatives are new and existing trading markets compliant.
    Work to minimise the cost of Soiled and Damaged write offs by ensuring packaging solutions is as customer and store friendly as possible.
    Involves the traceability and accuracy of sustainable packaging claims and the education of the businesses customers in how to recycle their packaging.  

    Key Requirements:-

    Strong commercial and operational background and understanding.
    An interest in Sustainability and will appreciate the significance of the Sustainability movement in the context of the retail industry. 
    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    A strong understand of Product Technical and Compliance requirements as required.
    An understanding of environmental and government objectives.
    University educated.
