    Marketing Manager

    Our client, a growing cruelty-free cosmetics company, specialising in on trend make-up and nail products and looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to oversee all aspects marketing.

    As Marketing Manager, you will have the ability to drive the success of the business by implementing a clear and defined strategy that will enable the brand to stand out in a highly competitive market and ultimately drive sales.

    Must have minimum 5 years’ experience in social and digital marketing within Beauty or Retail!

    Key Responsibilities:-

    Leading a team of 6 and managing 3 direct reports including objectives setting and appraisals
    Setting the Marketing agenda including creation and delivery of the Marketing Strategy
    Implementation of the Marketing plan and ensuring that it always supports the over-arching strategy
    Managing agencies to deliver relevant comms across the most relevant channels with a focus on digital and social advertising
    Ensure that the Marketing plan covers the increasingly important focus being placed on the website
    Positioning yourself as the brand guardian so that all the brands comms have a consistent look and feel
    Oversee all PR activity, which will be managed by the team, in order that the PR plan supports appropriate products and collections and meets the targets set
    Setting and managing annual budgets for Marketing and PR and maintaining regular dialogue with the Finance Manager to advice of any over or under spends.
    Maintaining excellent relationships with key internal departments, ranging from Sales and Product Development through to Production and Planning to understand their respective functions and timings which may impact the Marketing dept.

    Key Requirements:-

    5 years knowledge and experience of social and digital Marketing
    Minimum 5 years’ experience of delivering Marketing campaigns within the Beauty or similarly fast paced sector
    Be experienced in managing and leading a team
    Be both strategically and commercially savvy
    Be self-motivated, proactive and passionate about beauty
    Have excellent communication skills across all levels of seniority
    Be able to juggle workloads and delegate and prioritise accordingly
