    Business Development Manager

    We are working with a growing retail display agency that produces digital displays and fixtures across all retail working with major organisations and many more high profile businesses whom are looking for an Business Development Manager to develop new business with new and existing client targeting emerging millennial brands. The opportunity will be working with cross functional team to identify, develop and deliver relevant display solutions to their clients, managing, delivering against and reporting on forecast on a monthly basis


    Key Responsibilities


    Increase existing business & generate new opportunities

    Conduct market research to identify & develop new customer / business opportunities

    Build & maintain an accurate active database of prospective clients

    Establish & manage relationships with key decision makers

    Write / deliver pitches & tender responses

    Manage the sales process from discovery, development, negotiations to order

    Take & understand a full brief from customers & advise how to create their needs

    Secure meetings with decision makers within identified target customers

    Ensure that client briefs can be successfully developed / manufactured

    Report minutes of meetings & forecasting to HQ

    Take responsibility for setting, measuring & reporting KPIs / targets

    Organise / clearly communicate relevant info relating to the client / project

    Track & record activity on accounts & help close deals to meet targets

    Submit weekly progress reports

    Carry out store visits / audits when required

    Attend appropriate events / shows to build a strong network of client contacts

    Demonstrate understanding of, and buy-in to the company vision, mission, ethos & values


    Skills and Experience:


    Experience of selling solutions to the Retail / Brands sector

    Hunter business development experience with closure capabilities

    Proven track record of new business delivery and account growth

    Experience of developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers.

    Past experience of working in a fast-paced environment is essential

    Demonstrable evidence of developing strong and robust relationships with multi contact points within a customer

    Develop and present propositions to help influence and persuade desired outcomes

    Knowledge of POS / POP, displays, retail / store design, VM, Windows etc

    Ability to work under tight deadlines in a composed and professional manner

    Work well as part of a team as well as independently

    Business professional projecting a positive company image to the public

    IT and social media literate

    Ability to plan, organise, communicate and manage customer relationships

    Able to multi-task and appropriately prioritise

    Self-starter, independent and self-sufficient

    Outgoing with ambition and strong social competence, communication and creative presentation skills

    High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise work.
