• PR and Communications Executive

    We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior PR and Communications Executive to join a young, fashionable cosmetic brand specialising in make-up and nail products.

    The position will be to implement consistent, high-quality communications strategies and they organisation needs  a proactive and passionate PR professional with drive to deliver results. This role has great exposure working within a friendly team within a fast-paced business and industry.  


    Role Responsibilities

    Manage end-to-end process of PR assets and brand events, from presenting proposals and spend internally, liaising with and booking suppliers/venues, and executing to a high, on-brand standard.

    In line with key launches, research and deliver gifting mailers to support new product and create buzz and conversation in the press/on social channels.

    Proactively contribute to the brand communication plans with innovative and fresh ideas to elevate the brand and achieve increased coverage and features on key channels.

    Identify relevant and brand-building partnership and collaboration opportunities.

    Establish and nurture relationships with press and influencer contacts to build strong rapport.

    Monitor spend and keep the PR Budget Tracker updated at all times. Prepare monthly spend reports to present to internal stakeholders in monthly budget overview meetings

    Work closely with the Marketing Team on PR support for special projects.

    Follow up on key activations and events with a post campaign report, analysing against set key measures of success, and present to internal stakeholders.

    Deliver weekly coverage highlights, accompanied with sales impact information.

    Assist in annual strategic brand proposals, considering upcoming launches, industry insights and trends to maximise brand relevance and standout.

    Monitor and benchmark competitor brand activity, circulate competitor analysis and industry articles of relevance to the wider team regularly.

    Handle product and image call-ins in a timely manner.

    Work closely with the Brand Ambassador on content and feature opportunities.

    Monitor all media (digital, print and social) for brand coverage.

    Oversee Assistant’s daily workload, to ensure that the day-to-day PR function runs smoothly, while ensuring you are motivating and promoting development.

    Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with the Marketing, Sales, New Product Development and Design teams.

    Relevant Experience

    A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a Beauty PR role.

    Sound knowledge of the beauty industry.

    Networking and contact building.

    Accustomed to using media monitoring platforms beneficial.

    Established industry media contact relationships (key journalists/influencers).

    Keen eye for emerging talent and identifying opportunities.

    Experience in organising and delivering successful brand events.

    Excellent written English and experienced in writing impactful, creative, on-brand press releases and statements.

    Able to identify and implement opportunities and ideas which successfully deliver ROI.
