We are working with a major supplier of retail display organisation that produces digital displays across the Consumer Electronics Industry working with major organisations including Sony, Samsung, Garmin and many more high profile businesses whom are looking for an Account Director to manage and develop and work with a pre-defined client portfolio creating and developing new opportunities for the business.
The opportunity will be working with cross functional team to identify, develop and deliver relevant display solutions to their clients, managing, delivering against and reporting on forecast on a monthly basis
Understand client’s strategic objectives relevant to display and merchandising.
Determine budget holders, decision makers, influencers and supporters.
Create opportunity for Senior Management representation within accounts.
Develop service levels appropriate to client’s needs.
Through using market insights work towards driving efficiency and opportunities within existing and new clients.
Develop plan for strategic growth of opportunity within Europe.
Create marketing and client entertainment plan.
Regular meetings; weekly project meeting, quarterly performance reviews, AOP, etc.
Develop networking plan for incremental opportunity.
Ensure solutions are developed in line with client’s strategic objectives.
Create platform for year on year measurement of our performance against objectives.
Overview report highlighting change.
Review business against plan by client by month / quarter.
Incremental business options and potential threats.
Flag priority projects with plan for conversion.
Review resources – over or under capacity.
Develop clear, comprehensive client briefs with pre-defined objectives, target costs, timelines, key dates, etc.
Weekly project update ahead of client meeting.
Create regular project updates for presentation to Managing Director.
5+ years experience of working in Sales role preferably within POP, Store Fixture or Retail sector.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good knowledge of European programs and ways of working.
Experience in Consumer Electronics sector – (preferably).
Strong track record of successful client development and business conversion with Global brands.
Good interpersonal and motivational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours and available to travel.
