    Head of Supply Chain

    An opportunity for an experienced Head of Supply Chain to be the central point of contact between the Customer, Manufacturer and Logistics (Warehouse) for one of the world’s largest supplier of Product Protection Equipment covering sport, electronic, industrial, defence, and Technological products such as mobile phones and Tablets. You will be pro-actively planning and implementing supply and logistics, ensuring that the flow of data and materials between Customer and Manufacturer meets customer demands and in the process minimise costs to the Company and maximising customer satisfaction

    Key Responsibilities

    Responsibility for the Supply Chain of the business

    Managing the existing team of staff in Operations, Quality and Testing departments

    Assessing current system/process and then designing, building and delivering a scalable global operations process

    Ensuring cross-functional engagement and commitment from across the business, particularly Commercial and Sales functions

    Building, training and leading a high-performance team within the supply chain departments

    Your focus will be embedding robust, effective processes to deliver maximum forecast accuracy and service, whilst balancing supply constraints and enabling year on year cost reductions across the Supply Chain.

    The primary function of this important role is to co-ordinate the order to delivery process from end to end for Global Sales with the aim of satisfying the customer, ensuring they have everything they need – from order capture through to delivery to customer in destination market.

    Key Requirements:-

    Extensive Operations experience - designing and implementing processes, and leading Operations teams

    Exposure to complex, international Supply Chains with a focus on servicing integrated customers, where traceability and process control is key in markets such as Military equipment, PPE/Industrial supplies, Pharmaceuticals, Medical devices and Aerospace.

    A background in leadership positions, with strong stakeholder management skills

    Experience delivering complex change projects on a broad scale

    Supply chain and Logistics experience in a demanding environment (Import / Export)

    Experience in an environment that requires high levels of accuracy and flexibility

    Experience of working with internal and external customers

    The ability to travel overseas to visit manufacturers in the Far East and USA clients

    MUST have sales force experience

    Our client is looking for a detail-orientated, proactive and initiative-driven individual who is potentially looking for a step up from Marketing Assistant or move from a similar Exec level role, in the luxury sector. Working in a small, close-knit team, and you will be engaged in every aspect of the business with the two main areas of focus across digital and physical channels.

    Events

    Assisting the Head of Events to manage and execute the annual calendar of live events of over 50 events including dinners, lunches, receptions, seminars, breakfast briefings, report launches and the annual awards

    Manage a range of smaller events from start to finish, taking full responsibility and overseeing all aspects of  event management, logistics, external suppliers, communications and guest lists: liaising with event venues; event sponsors; external suppliers; guests and other stakeholders and updating the Head of Events each week on the progress of the event

    Manage on-the-day setup and running of the live events

    Manage the digital events programme day to day

    Work closely with the communications and content team on all supporting materials and content to promote the events and ensure the relevant materials are available for attendees

    Manage RSVPs and curate guest lists where appropriate

    Assist the senior team with sourcing, approaching and briefing speakers

    Coordinate speaker and VIP guests’ requirements such as travel

    Update the CRM database 

    Post-event reporting and feedback gathering

     

    Marketing

    Work with the content and membership teams to ensure the website is up to date with the latest content

    Work with the digital agency to ensure all copy on the website is SEO optimised

    Work with the content team to build the Daily Digest emails

    Support the membership team in managing the website Portal content day to day

    Support the content team on social media
