    The boyswear designer will be working closely with the Design Director to assist with the development of the Jerseywear collection whilst having a strong understand for trend, colour and fabric.
    The offices are great young, dynamic and exciting.

    Relocation required!

    Key Responsibilities:-

    Liaise closely with suppliers to ensure all swatches, colour cards are seasonally archived
    Develop new yarns / communicate design ideas to factories from concept to production
    Issue lab dips and advise on all comments and approvals Issue yarn sample orders and ensure timely deliveries in line with the critical path
    Create specs and amendments
    Issue boyswear sample orders inform factories of any changes required
    Create drawings for collection books and assist the creation of the collection pages
    Negotiate boyswear prices for sampling and production
    Communicate effectively with all departments
    Monitor stock yarns at factories and update on a regular basis

    Key Requirements:-

    Ideally 3-5 years relevant experience in boyswear, preferably for a fast fashion brand
    Excellent childrenswear manufacturing knowledge

    String fashion sense and eye for detail
    Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and Excel Good administrative skills

    Design Development Manager

    Opportunity for a Development Project Manager to join one of the UK’s leading Shop fixtures and fittings manufactures.

    You will be responsible for working closely with the Design teams to collate drawings, specs and BOM’s and work closely with suppliers with development of new products.

    Must have a minimum 5 years’ experience within shopfitting or retail display, with strong Project Management and Design experience.

    Key Responsibilities:- 

    Providing design support to Key Accounts, liaising with Account Directors and Managers.
    Creating agreed, well defined and formulated briefs and communicating these back into the design team using the appropriate documentation and process.

    Key Requirements:-

    Demonstrable ability with Solidworks and/or AutoCAD design software would be of benefit.

    Working closely with the Product Merchandisers and Regional Managers to use analysis to feed into store space plans and to support and train the allocation team.
