V&C have been retained by our client whom are a successful International brand based in Central Europe and are recruiting a Head of Marketing & Communications to join their fast growing business and one that is currently experience exciting growth across Europe .
The successful candidate having a proven track record of sales in brand management with a strong understanding of Market Awareness across the Sportswear/Performance and Leisure Sector.
The position is reporting to the Global Marketing & Communications Director managing 4 direct reports, working closely with the other Marketing teams, the Omnichannel team, Design & Buying teams, Finance team internally.
This 360 degree role requires a strong commercial, creative, Digital Native who can drive customer behaviour and loyalty through developing innovative and engaging marketing and digital campaigns.
This role will focus on strategically developing and delivering our 360 Marketing campaigns linking Brand and Digital Marketing teams and will be responsible for developing and overseeing Brand marketing projects.
Drive brand marketing initiatives from conception through to analysis in line with brand marketing core goals and objectives delivering against awareness, positioning, product marketing campaigns, all with a digital and customer-centric focus.
Develop the seasonal marketing strategy, corresponding calendar and budgets for own ecommerce site as well as wholesale partners setting KPI’s, objectives and analysing performance.
Devise and deliver bespoke innovative marketing initiatives that drive consumer engagement, traffic to ecommerce site, conversion and brand loyalty.
Focus team efforts on engaging and retaining existing customers whilst also delivering new acquisition and re engaging lapsed customers.
Leading the weekly marketing meeting involving all marketing departments (incl. CRM/Omni-channel/Market intelligence/Creative team/Operations/Visual Merchandising/CSR) and securing follow up of agreed actions.
Constantly on the look out for ‘the new & the next’ innovative and exciting new opportunities and trends that would add value to the customer experience and business commercially.
Managing the execution of both above the line (e.g. TVC, OOH, Print, Radio) as well as below the line (e.g. PR, Social, Influencer marketing and Ambassador programme) communications for all campaigns and generates visual assets to be used across different media platforms.
Develop and lead key brand partnerships to leverage, position and amplify the brand and develop our customer base.
Developing and delivering core product marketing and digital campaigns.
Forecasting, managing and reporting budget for owned areas.
Management of external PR agencies ensuring all assets are supplied and KPIs are met.
Brand marketing projects, collaborations and partnerships management of the key relationships with global partners including weekly team catch ups, daily contact, developing a joint-strategy, negotiating demands in line with our objectives.

Proven marketing & digital marketing experience and knowledge at management level, preferably in a fashion or agency environment.
Proven experience of integrating digital, social, influencer and partnership amplification.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to overcome business issues, propose solutions and make commercial decisions.
Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
Experience of developing a brand internationally, in particular, local knowledge of partner markets.
Self starter - with the ability to work under minimal supervision and guidance.
Strong team player with experience of building strong trusting and credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners quickly.
Creative thinker with the ability to achieve the full potential from projects, keeping abreast of and utilising new industry developments and technology.
Strong affinity with fashion, culturally aware; with an in-depth awareness of current fashion, music and lifestyle trends and a strong visual eye.
