V&C have developed an Event division by holding breakfast events throughout the year, with industry relevant speakers talking about topical subject areas.
Our focus is across Fashion and Retail with subjects so far around Digital Marketing and Sustainability.
Through the V&C events we helped businesses facilitate excellent networking opportunities for our partners looking to grow or exploit their services in the UK.
V&C recently hosted a successful sustainability workshop in Central London in collaboration with Sartex Group, who are one of the world's most innovative denim sustainable manufacturers. Sartex produce over 4 million units a year using sustainable fabric and innovative washing techniques using laser and ozone treatments that radically reduce waste consumption and energy, eliminating permanganate and chlorine.
Typically 70 litres of water consumption is used in washing ONE denim garment with Sartex investment they have reduced this down to a remarkable 5 litres of water per garment in addition they have invested in a new water treatment plant where 70% of the water is recycled back into the factory and 30% is clean enough to enter the national water system. Their growing international client base include Seven for all Mankind, Replay, Boss, Diesel, Polo Ralph Lauren plus many others. UK Retailers and Brands such as Crew Clothing, Whistles, John Lewis Partnership, Boden and Joules initiated interest in moving their denim production to Sartex for their sustainable commitment.
The event showcased innovative denim developments from world-wide mills across sustainable, organic, recycled and dry indigo fabrics.

On Tuesday 5th November 2019, V&C partnered with Michelle Capp, Head of UK Retail at Facebook and Instagram to discuss
"how brands can drive awareness and sales through social media channels."
Michelle provided some fascinating statistics on how long consumers spend on social media, the sacrifices we make to shop online and top tips for brands/retailers to drive consumers to their channels; be inclusive, tell your story and provide access!
V&C Digital Marketing Services division collaborated with Google and Boden, hosting a very informative breakfast on Friday 12th July 2019.
We had talks and presentations from V&C, James at Google and Aaron at Boden who all gave insight on "how brands can best drive sales directly to their websites, improving margins and customer engagement".

V&C were delighted to partner with Sartex and Jeanologia for our latest Sustainability event at the Century Club, London on 17 April 2019.
Following the huge success of our previous Textile Sustainability event in 2018, V&C have taken it one step further and brought brands retailed from the lilkes of Stella McCartnery, Pentland Brands, Whistles, River Island, Asos, Thought, M&S and many more together with 2 organisations re-shaping the fashion industry - creating a more ethical, sustainable and eco-efficient approach to the way we manufacture garments. This event focused on the production of Denim Garments, while also discussing ways in which this approach could be applied to other products.

On 4th December 2018, V&C hosted a breakfast event in London around Textile Sustainability and Innovation, and had guest speakers who attended as well as some press, and a Q&A session.
We partnered with Tejidos Royo and Nigel Salter who provided an insightful presentation and discussion on the topic of Textile Sustainability and Innovation. Tejidos Royo who has just pioneered the worlds first water free indigo dyeing technology and Nigel Salter, whose key areas of expertise is sustainability and disruption in the fashion and apparel sector working with some world-wide brands and retailers, as well as The Industry Body and The Sustainable Apparel Coalition.
