Brief

Sahara needed a hands-on Social Media Manager to lead their digital presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Pinterest — someone equally at home developing strategy and producing content, with the commercial instinct to drive sales through social.

The key requirements were –

  • End-to-end content creation including video and livestreams
  • TikTok growth experience alongside established Meta channels
  • Influencer sourcing, briefing and management
  • Social commerce implementation and paid social support
  • Monthly channel performance reporting

Approach

We targeted Social Media Managers with direct fashion or retail experience.

We shortlisted on three criteria – multi-platform expertise (including TikTok), in-house content production capability, and a proven record of audience growth.

Our search was selective by design – quality over volume, with every candidate assessed against Sahara’s brand positioning and commercial objectives.

Result

The selected candidate had 8+ years in a social media capacity. She grew Instagram 30% in 6 months in her previous brand through influencer partnerships and trend-led content. Improved ROAS and CTR by introducing BTS video assets within paid campaigns.

Full photoshoot production – casting, art direction and photography across London and internationally. Skilled across Adobe Creative Suite, PremierPro, Klaviyo, Shopify, Planoly and more.
